Description: In this note, Lieutenant General Fritz Streletz provides information on a meeting between Soviet General Pavel Kurochkin, East German Defense Minister Heinz Hoffmann, and Marshalls Andrei Grechko and Ivan Yakubovsky. After respective inspection, the latter praised the combat readiness of the divisions and the air force of the Group of the Soviet Forces in Germany (GSSD), while Hoffmann regrets the Marshals had not visited the divisions of the NVA, the National People's Army.
