Description:
This is an agreement reached at the 22nd meeting of the Warsaw Pact's (WP) Committee of Ministers of Defense (CMD) in Prague in 1988 regarding the unilateral publication of the strength and composition of the alliance's armed forces. The CMD decides to refrain from an immediate publication of this information because the international environment surrounding the Vienna negotiations on the reduction of conventional weapons has changed.
